The almighty have created both male and female beings of all the species with an intention of sustaining the course of creation in this eternal world and the creatures of fairer sex alone has the power to bear the progeny. The femaleness is predominantly the mark of patience, compassion, and devotion. Thus femininity is looked upon with adoration ever since the period of the civilization. Nevertheless, in our very own nation India where we boast to worship femininity as the supreme power the latter is subjected to discrimination at a large extent.
It is a well known verity that the girl children (especially in India) are disregarded even in the current epoch of technological progression, just for want of a boy, owing to the longstanding credence that the birth of a boy is a boon to the family and further more he would be the source of salvation to the parents and cause for the eternity of the family line. Consequently the birth of a girl child is disdained leading to an anticipation of the prospect of arrival of a boy into the family. Accordingly, certain people even embark on vindictive acts such as termination of the female foetus and even go to the extent of female infanticide. Such practices are indeed hazardous to the humankind. Hence the cited age old belief apropos the want of a boy needs to be prevented at this juncture to facilitate the fortification of the rights of the girl child.
At the moment the common people are to be enthused with the contemporary outlook so that that the biased vision could be eliminated. Despite the fact that the Government set off certain programs pertaining to the mentioned issue, the necessity of the initiation of NGOs for the noble cause highly subsists. Thus the emergence of our charitable organization occurred.
